PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the development and implementation of Dexian's cloud security strategy, policies, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud resources.
  • Manage and mentor a team of cloud security engineers, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and maintenance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of Dexian's cloud security posture, leveraging automation and emerging technologies where applicable.
  • Conduct risk assessments and security audits of cloud environments to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner, coordinating incident response efforts as needed.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in cloud security, and provide strategic guidance to executive leadership on security-related matters.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cloud service providers, security vendors, and industry partners to stay abreast of the latest security solutions and developments

QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate should have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect expert) preferred.
  • Extensive experience working in cloud security, with a deep understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud) and their security features and capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure security services and capabilities, including Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Sentinel
  • Experience in designing and implementing security solutions for Microsoft 365, including the entire Microsoft Defender suite of products
  • Experience with log management and/or correlation systems, such as Microsoft Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Sentinel, to analyze and respond to security events effectively.
  • Fluency in one or more programming or scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell, or Go, to automate security tasks and enhance security controls
  • Thorough understanding of cloud and network security principles, including encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and network segmentation.
  • Knowledge of networking and web protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and SSL/TLS, to identify and mitigate security risks at the network level.
  • Proven leadership experience managing a team of security professionals, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower team members to achieve excellence.
  • Strong technical expertise in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and vulnerability management solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing cloud security strategies, policies, and standards in a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
