PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the development and implementation of Dexian's cloud security strategy, policies, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud resources.
Manage and mentor a team of cloud security engineers, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and maintenance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of Dexian's cloud security posture, leveraging automation and emerging technologies where applicable.
Conduct risk assessments and security audits of cloud environments to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner, coordinating incident response efforts as needed.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in cloud security, and provide strategic guidance to executive leadership on security-related matters.
Build and maintain strong relationships with cloud service providers, security vendors, and industry partners to stay abreast of the latest security solutions and developments

QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate should have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect expert) preferred.
Extensive experience working in cloud security, with a deep understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud) and their security features and capabilities.
Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure security services and capabilities, including Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Sentinel
Experience in designing and implementing security solutions for Microsoft 365, including the entire Microsoft Defender suite of products
Experience with log management and/or correlation systems, such as Microsoft Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Sentinel, to analyze and respond to security events effectively.
Fluency in one or more programming or scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell, or Go, to automate security tasks and enhance security controls
Thorough understanding of cloud and network security principles, including encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and network segmentation.
Knowledge of networking and web protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and SSL/TLS, to identify and mitigate security risks at the network level.
Proven leadership experience managing a team of security professionals, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower team members to achieve excellence.
Strong technical expertise in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and vulnerability management solutions.
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing cloud security strategies, policies, and standards in a large-scale enterprise environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
