SUMMARY

The Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the strategy, development, and coordination of internal, external, and executive communications, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and fostering transparency and engagement across all levels of the company. This individual will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives and messages that resonate with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, clients, and the media. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership to deliver impactful communications that reinforce the company's brand and vision.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans to support key business objectives, ensuring alignment with company goals and values.
  • Lead the strategic planning and development of executive communications, including enterprise-wide communications, speeches, presentations, memos, and other materials for C-suite executives and senior leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with executive team members to understand their priorities, objectives, and messaging preferences, ensuring consistency in communication efforts.
  • Write, edit, and proofread a wide range of materials, including internal newsletters, press releases, blog posts, social media content, and more.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Marketing, Human Resources, Sales, and Field Operations to ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic counsel on communication matters and helping to shape executive messaging.
  • Manage media relations efforts, including drafting press releases, pitching stories to journalists, and responding to media inquiries.
  • monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in communication, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and optimize processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role, with demonstrated expertise in writing and editing.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies that engage internal and external audiences.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other communication tools/software.
  • Experience working in IT, staffing, or other professional services industry is a plus but not required.
