Location:                       6404 International Pkwy #2300, Plano, TX 75093 (Hybrid model, going into the office 50%)
 
SUMMARY: This person coordinates and administers a variety of HR responsibilities, including but not limited to onboarding, record-keeping, project coordination, Consultant Connection, and offboarding. Supports and leads the HR team on all HR responsibilities and focuses on advancing the Consultant Connection program to engage employees and support the Field in growing the business.

Human Resources Associate
  • 2+ years’ experience working in Human Resources, preferably onboarding; willing to train/mentor.
  • Strong communicator of oral and written work; also, good presentation skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Technically proficient in working with (PeopleSoft, Oracle, workday) ERP systems as well as Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional image.
  • Education to include BS or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Administration
  • Conduct FLSA Evaluations on position descriptions.
  • Proactively manage HR systems to ensure data integrity.
  • Assist HR Lead with training new hires as well as training existing personnel on new processes.
  • Assist HR Lead with auditing of employee I-9s, checklists, new hire files, & supervisor information.
  • Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with employment-related laws and regulations.

Onboarding/Offboarding
  • Submit pre-employment screening orders for new hires, according to client-required pre-employment screening requirements - track status of background checks, review non-compliant results with HR Lead, and follow adverse action process.
  • Review the background (BG) package for consistency with client BG check requirements and add any missing components.
  • Ensure all client-specific paperwork is sent signed, completed, properly filed, & followed up as needed, prior to the individual beginning work.
  • Create and maintain employee records in Oracle HCM and PeopleSoft.
  • Coordinate with HR immigration specialists to onboard foreign nationals.
  • Facilitate the I-9 process, collect employment eligibility verification documents, and verify employment eligibility.
  • Coordinate with Travel to order the Amex card and assist with travel preferences, as needed.
  • Coordinate with IT and AEs to order the equipment, safety badges, etc., as needed.
  • Process terminations, collect & file off-boarding paperwork, process final check according to state or local requirements, verify all equipment is returned following the Asset Process, ensure all consultant expenses are submitted & approved, and complete NEXT offboarding checklists.

Consultant/ Employee Care
  • Manage Consultant care to ensure all items are completed.
  • Connect with consultants, several times, during the first month of employment to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Maintain an open line of communication throughout the duration of the Consultant’s employment.
  • Perform quarterly data accuracy check to ensure that Consultant data is correct and complete.
  • Generate End Date reports and request that projected end dates be updated when appropriate.
  • Work with the Account Executive and Recruiter to achieve excellent customer service and Consultant Care.
  • Provide HR and business policy guidance to consultants and assist w/ the administration of Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with the Benefits team on Consultant benefits issues, enrollment, and leave program administration.
  • Direct employment-related inquiries, such as employment verification requests and unemployment compensation inquiries and proceedings to the appropriate corporate HR contacts.
  • Provide employee relations support and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and administered in a fair and non-discriminatory manner, escalating more complex situations as appropriate.
  • Oversee facilities management, submit, and approve supply orders for designated branch office locations, handle and distribute mail and other files as needed, and assist with the coordination of office team building events.
  • Ensure compliance with client’s safety requirements and update workplace safety program as needed.
